Stop climate change

Do you know what climate change is doing to Earth? Climate change is serious. It will eventually change the world if we don't do anything about it. Climate change is different to global warming here's why climate change is different. Climate change is a change in Earth's atmosphere which is normally temperatures getting higher which effects weather patterns. Global warming is the Earth's core getting hotter which effects the outside. Here’s 3 main reasons of what climate change is doing. Carbon Dioxide Carbon dioxide a.k.a CO2 is a part of the GHG (green house gases). We are releasing a lot more than you realise the total amount is 2.4 million per second. That’s per second imagine a minute. Also the carbon dioxide levels have been at their highest. Last highest recorded carbon dioxide levels were 650,000 years ago. Glaciers Glaciers will be a big problem this could lead to sea levels rising which will flood low land cities towns wiping out the civilization there living there.Temperatures will change, many causes could change the temperature from glaciers. Wild Forest Fire Wildfires are spreading rapidly. The Amazon rainforest is a huge danger 73,000 fires recorded this year 2,500 are currently active. This will put over half of our wildlife species in danger. Climate change is going to change the world. This needs to stop help prevent climate change by doing something about it.

Interdependence

Today I was learning about Interdependence.
I enjoyed making the poster and the arrows were fun to put in.
I found it tricky to make my sentences make sense.
My digital learning shows that I can use Google drawing. I also learnt how to do a Screencastify.
Next time I would change the fonts in my writing.
 

Tom Fedro art

In Room 1 we have been working on some Tom Fedro art.

I found it easy to draw the whole thing out.

I found it tricky to blend the colours from dark to light.

I learnt how to blend colours properly and learnt who Tom Fedro.

Mary MacKillop was an Australian nun. Mary MacKillop is now known as a saint.

What did Mary MacKillop do?

Mary Mackillop’s first job was a clerk at the age of 14. Then she was a governess  looking after her cousins and teaching them and other farm children their lessons. She loved children and later on in life she became a teacher. 

How did Mary MacKillop become a Saint? 

On June 1995 Mackillop was beatified By Pope John Paul ll. Pope Benedict XVI recognised Mary as a Saint.

 

Action photos

Room 1 are learning to make action photos. Action photos are photos that display things you like doing but you're not actually there.

What I found interesting is how the background disappeared but leaving you perfectly there.
I found it easy to find the right background to match what i was doing.
I found it hard to find a surfboard as I actually had to make it myself. 

BEES

In Room 1 we are learning about bees. Bees are really fascinating creatures and really intelligent too.

I enjoyed finding facts about the bees because I had no idea that bees could do this stuff.

I did find it a bit tricky just to add the text boxes and making it a different colour.
